Angiro represented the people of Erute County North in Lira district in the last (10th) Parliament.
He was reportedly traveling toward Nebbi when his car, a Toyota Noah number UAM 943A crashed, killing him on spot at Olwio on the Pakwach-Nebbi road.
Speaker of Parliament, Hon Anita Among mourned the passing of the former MP in a statement.
She said the deceased had “made his mark as an eloquent lawmaker who was passionate about education, health, and the social well-being of his people.”
“My sincere Condolences to his family, friends, the people of the Erute North, the Forum for Democratic Change family, and the people of the Onywal Ipyeda Clan. May the Lord comfort his loved ones during this difficult moment and grant his soul eternal rest,” said Among.
The development comes just a day after another high profile person, city businessman Apollo Nyegamehe was killed in a deadly car crash in Itojo on the Mbarara-Ntungamo road.
The tycoon, also known as Aponye died instantly when his Toyota Land Cruiser crashed into a stationary Fuso truck which has been parked on the roadside after it broke down.
