Ciroc Brunch, a leading social event in Kampala, has officially ended.
"EVENT IS NOW CLOSED," said an official statement released on Tuesday, March 25.
The brunch began eight years ago and was held monthly at The Alchemist in Bugolobi, a suburb of Kampala.
"It’s been an absolute delight celebrating with you since December 3, 2017, but it’s now time for the sun to set on Kampala’s premier brunch event," the statement continued.
"We thank you for the countless memories and can’t wait to share new experiences with you. Stay blessed in your Sunday best!"

Though other brunch events have emerged over the years, Ciroc Brunch remained a standout, attracting top names from the corporate world, socialites, and trendsetters.
"Ciroc Brunch was one event that changed the Kampala event scene forever... it walked so that other 'Brunches' could run. Kudos to all who were part of building something this consistently awesome. Namaste!" said an X user, @ZeeroBrain.
The Pearl Guide, which hosted the event, posted on X: "All good things come to an end, and Cîroc Brunch has had an unforgettable run. 🥂✨ Thank you for every toast, every vibe, and every memory. Until we brunch again. 🍾🧡"
Another X user commented: "One last one, in April, and we know for real😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 On our knees. cc: everyone else that reserved."
The event's final edition was held in February. In recent times, several events have either been discontinued or had their frequency reduced.
A notable example is Blankets and Wine, which was once a quarterly event but now leaves revelers uncertain about its future.
