Why Mya Baganda is not participating in Blu*3 reunion concert

Jackie Chandiru said Mya, real name Edith Namuleme Baganda, is not joining them for the reunion show because it's meant to reunite the founding members of Blu*3.

"She is definitely part of Blu3. She is the Blu3 that came after Cindy," said Chandiru while appearing on Galaxy TV. She is not part "because we are talking about the original."

The original Blu*3 had Lilian Mbabazi, Jackie Chandiru and Cindy Sanyu. Mya joined after Cindy's departure.

The legendary girl group Blu*3 is gearing up for their long-awaited reunion concert in June this year.

The three ladies Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru and Lilian Mbabazi had initially set their main reunion show on March 8, (Women’s Day) but ended up postponing it on different grounds.

But with the new dates set this time, the trio is promising to take their fans back in time to relive the infectious melodies and electrifying performances that made BLU 3 a household name.

The show organizers, Talent Africa Group announced today, Wednesday that the BLU 3 Reunion Concert, is scheduled for June 22nd, 2024, at the Sheraton Kampala Gardens.This history-making event marks the first major concert featuring the three ladies having earlier in December last year had a mini-concert in the wake of the exciting news of their comeback.

BLU 3 rose to fame in the early 2000s, captivating audiences with their undeniable chemistry and powerful vocals. Their groundbreaking hits, like the energetic Hitaji and the soulful Where You Are dominated Ugandan airwaves and became anthems for a generation.
