Zuena wouldn’t be bothered if Bebe Cool fought with Bobi Wine

For instance, in 2005, Bebe Cool found himself in the middle of a fight between his friend Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine.

"Whether the men punch one another, that's their problem. I'm not concerned," Kirema said in a media interview.

Asked if she has ever advised her husband against involving himself in beef, she said: "As a woman, I have to let the man handle that. Because he is an old man, he knows what he is doing. Even [Bobi Wine] is an old man, he knows what he is doing."

Kirema added: "Obviously they have reasons they keep doing whatever they are doing. So, you can't just start telling him what to do. No, an old person knows what he is doing, so I can't just involve myself."

Wine and Cool have long-standing beef that has had some positives and negatives.

On the negative side, they've involved themselves in fights and abused each other to the extent of attacking their loved ones.

For instance, in 2005, Cool found himself in the middle of a fight between his friend Jose Chameleone and Wine. He ended up being slashed with a knife. They were Ange Noir Discotheque, now Club Guvnor.

On the positive side, both have made lots of money out of it, through releasing diss songs and concerts aimed at cashing in on their beef.

For instance, in 2012, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine competed for music supremacy in a concert dubbed Battle of Champions, organised by Haji Musa Kavuma of KT Events.

Bebe Cool recently admitted that it's because of competing with Wine and Chameleone that he was able to attain some of the success he has.

“When Bobi Wine bought land, or when Bobi Wine bought a beach [One Love Beach in Busaabala], Chameleone went to the studio, sang that I will buy a beach, two months later, he went and bought a beach [in 2010, Chameleone acquired over seven hectares next to Kyavumbu Landing Site],” Cool said.

“When Bobi brought [an] Escalade... Chameleone dropped another song, six months later he bought an Escalade to hype the song... and I was like, these boys are leaving me behind... so, I sent for a Hummer and added a personalised plate -- BIG SIZE... so, you must support your songs with showbiz... that's why I keep telling you, it's hard to reach our level [Chameleone, Cool and Wine are normally referred to as the big three]… some of you think we just found the money to do these things, no, we prioritise."

But their competition also came with beef that at some point descended into unpolished verbal exchanges through music.

One such song is Kataala in which Wine said some uncouth things about Cool's father, Jaberi Bidandi Ssali.
