To join the fashion industry, Abryanz was first inspired by his mother who was a tailor with a small clothing shop. 10 years ago, he decided to start out his clothing line.
“I had a dream of building a legacy that would impact every Ugandan in some way, but especially the young people,” he says.
At the 15th edition of the annual Buzz Teenz Awards, Abryanz was honored with a LifeTime Achievement Award.

“It feels right receiving this honor after 10 years.” he said after receiving the accolade.
He received this for successfully building and running a clothing line, and organising one of Africa’s largest red carpet fashion shows, the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, together with its Fashionpreneurship summit.
“I did not know I could win a big award but am not overly shocked. It has been years of consistent hard work”, he added.
Talking to press, Abryanz says this accolade means so much to him and his brand.
“I have awarded people, I know what this award means and usually it is for old people, because it takes many years to do great things. I am very honored and humbled by the Buzz Teenz Awards, and everyone that has contributed to the making of Abryanz, whether it is by liking a social media post, buying any of our apparel or always encouraging me in any way. Thank you all.” he said.
