"I didn't like him in the beginning," Judith said in an interview.

According to her, they met at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala when she was in her “party years”.

What kept her around was that he had loads of cash and he was generous with it; spending on her and her friends who used to joke that they had landed “a sugar daddy”

After their first encounter, Richard Heard left the country and called her six months later.

He was calling her about Judith’s birthday though she had “forgotten about him”.

She was turning 19.

He invited her to Sheraton and gave her a box of white chocolate and an envelope that contained $5000 and told her it was for her birthday party.

He asked her if he should join her for the party and she accepted.

She went and paid at Club Rouge, then a popular hangout owned by Ali Alibhai of Talent Africa.

He flew out of the country the next day and told her he had just come for her birthday. She said they had a good time.

After two months, he asked her if she wanted him to be her sugar daddy or her husband.

Judith was positive about him marrying her.

They flew to Cape Town, South Africa to buy an engagement ring in a store that had hosted globally acclaimed celebs, including the Queen of England.

He told her to pick a ring of her choice.

When she called her mom to ask if she should get married, the mother told her to get the ring and keep it.

Heard told Judith that it's fine, as there was no need to rush. They returned to Kampala and held a celebratory party at Sheraton.

They finally got married on November 17, 2006, in Vegas, and they shared three children Brandon Richard Heard, and twins: Branda Jolie Heard and Briana Bella Heard.

They divorced in 2014.
