Abba Marcus Ssali did not hold back on Sunday night, December 29, as he addressed his critics, including events promoters Bajjo and Abitex, as well as media personalities Miles Rwamiti and Roger Otis.
“He is stupid. He’s a fool,” Marcus said about Abitex, who had claimed Marcus was too young to criticise the actions of his parents and grandparents. “I feel bad for his children,” he added.
Abitex had also stated in a media interview that Daniella Atim, Marcus' mother, was neither the first woman to divorce nor to experience domestic violence. Marcus responded strongly, saying, “This guy is a stupid idiot… this is the stupidest guy I’ve reacted to this entire stream… even more stupid than Bajjo… wow… he just normalised domestic violence… I’m very disappointed.”
During a live TikTok session, Marcus shared that his father, Jose Chameleone, is currently doing well and that they have been in communication. He clarified that his father was not upset with him for publicly discussing his health issues. Instead, he was proud because, according to Marcus, the video he shared on TikTok was rooted in love.
Roger Otis, a presenter on Galaxy FM's love show, had sided with those who believe that elders are beyond reproach and should not be criticised by younger generations. In response, Marcus described Otis' job as irrelevant to society, adding that if Otis were in the United States, he would occupy the bottom rung of society.
Marcus also criticised Rwamiti, calling him egotistical for suggesting that it is inappropriate for children to critique their parents.
