President Uhuru Kenyatta did not disappoint the online community when it came to memes this year. The Head of State is one of the most memed Presidents in Africa.

This year it was no exception as his meme game went a notch higher. He also jumped into the bandwagon of some catchy phrases like 'Kijana fupi imenona round'.

1. During the BBI Report launch

This is the number one meme Uhuru moment as it happened recently. A video showed a moment during the launch of the BBI report when President Kenyatta was tickled.

What made the video go viral is the fact that the President couldn't stop laughing but his deputy William Ruto, who was seated right next to him, maintained a stoic expression.

2. Hosting business people at State House

In May President Kenyatta was hosting dialogue forum between Kenya Private Sector Alliance when the cameras caught him making funny faces.

Kenyans online went on a frenzy and even created threads of his funny moments as the most memed president in Africa.

3. With Ngilu in Machakos

President Uhuru Kenyatta left netizens in stitches back in June with another funny facial expression.

Mr Kenyatta was captured in the picture with Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu while attending the burial ceremony of Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyongo’s mother. Social media users ended up creating funny memes from the photographs.

4. State of the Nation address

During the State of the Nation address, online users taunted the President’s opening statement that “the state of the nation is strong” and his emphasis that there is no turning back on the war against corruption.

He also set the internet on fire with speculation on who he was going to fire after his address.
