Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke said that Ms. Jama is headed for the Nation Media Group’s NTV, as a possible replacement to Jamila Mohammed who left NTV for Citizen TV.

Her departure comes barely two months after she was promoted to a Swahili anchor after working as a reporter for two years.

New line-up

Kaltun Jama will now join the likes Salim Swaleh and Willis Raburu who have left the Royal Media Services (RMS) Citizen TV for the Aga Khan owned media house.

Prior to joining TV, Ms. Jama worked for a Coast based radio station, Radio Salaam.
