One dead-Huge traffic snarl-up on Nakuru-Eldoret highway after accident at Salgaa

One person has been confirmed dead and another one seriously injured after two Lorries collided on the busy Nakuru-Eldoret Highway at the Molo River Bridge.

Confirming the incident Rongai OCPD Richard Rotich, said the driver of one of the Lorries lost control, causing the lorry to hit an oncoming lorry.

“One driver was killed on the spot while the driver of the other lorry broke his legs” said Mr Rotich.

The injured driver was rushed to Molo hospital for treatment.

The accident has caused a heavy traffic snarl-up from Molo River near Salgaa centre along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.

The OCPD added that his officers have been deployed along the highway to help clear up the snarl-up.
