Mathias Kasemera, 30, is suspected to belong to the notorious gangs terrorizing Mukono residents.

Authorities say Kasemera reportedly issued threatening notices to a number of homes demanding UGX2m or be killed.

The 30-year-old was arrested by a group of plain clothed officers with help of the community members.

He is being detained at Seeta Police Station on a holding charge of threatening violence.
