Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has sanctioned charges against vocal Member of Parliament Betty Nambooze.
The sanction of the charges of incitement of violence and offensive communication means police must present Nambooze before court.
On June 12th, police in Uganda's capital, Kampala, opened investigations against four people, including vocal opposition MP Betty Nambooze, over Ibrahim Abiriga's assassination.
She reportedly posted on social media saying it's easy to attack the late Abiriga even with bodyguards around.
Nambooze, who is currently admitted at Kiruddu Hospital, after developing some complications a few days after her arrest.
On Wednesday, a court issued an order demanding her to hand over her devices, including mobile phone and computer to help in investigations for a period of two weeks.
Police is investigating other three people over the same offence.
