Mikie Wine non-commital as he breaks silence on Shazney Khan’s ‘soft launch’
Khan, who hinted at their breakup in December 2022, during this past Easter weekend appeared to soft launch a new relationship.
She wished a happy birthday to someone called Amor via her Instagram stories.
"May Allah strengthen our bond day by day," she wrote in another story.
In another story, she said: "Happy birthday my special someone" and added three heart emojis.
Another read: "Till forever Inshaaallah [God willing]".
Khan, who introduced Mikie Wine to her family in October 2021, said that musicians are soul breakers and “toxic”.
She advised women to be wary while dating them.
"Simple advice... Don't date a man in the Ugandan music industry. They will break your soul," she posted on her WhatsApp status, according to screenshots shared on social media.
Khan deleted all photos taken with Wine from her Instagram.
The couple has two children together.
While speaking to Spark TV, Wine said that "family is okay" and that Khan "is fine" when he was asked about both.
Pressed to comment on their rumoured breakup, he said: "I don't discuss my family issues in public. Family issues are for family members."
"If you saw her posting, why are you asking me?" he wondered when he was asked to comment on Khan's Instagram stories.
"... I was raised well... I leave home respect for home respect."
Rumours indicate that Wine rekindled romance with his ex-girlfriend Pauline Kemigisha. The two reportedly welcomed a son named David Paris in August 2018.
