Kabugo died in 2014 at Aga Khan Hospital in Kenya's capital, Nairobi, after suffering an asthma attack.

The former Tusker Project Fame judge announced in 2016 the commencement of a foundation named after her only son --Keron Kabugo Foundation -- with an aim of helping disadvantaged children.

Kanyomozi today celebrates her late son's birthday in yet another special way by visiting a home in Kyegera "to do some special work".

"We are out here and we gonna do some work. That is how we celebrate Keron's life... It's a bit emotional for me but the fact I get to celebrate his life and do things he was passionate about, which is caring and helping children, gives me joy," she said.

The celebrated musician adds that: "It puts a smile on my face knowing that he is smiling down from heaven that we are doing things he loved the most".

Heartfelt tribute

In July, musician Kanyomozi penned down a heartfelt tribute on social media to her late son.

Juliana shared the tribute saying: "Today my angel has made four years in heaven. And it never gets any easier. I remember your silly jokes, your sense of humour, your charm, your ability to make friends of all ages and somehow engage all of them with such ease," adding that "You were just so perfect. I miss your hugs and the foot massages".

"You always told me I’m “THE BEST MUM EVER”, I don’t know what I did to deserve this compliment, I just know I did the thing that I loved the most in the world, be your mother. God surely blessed me when he gave me you."
