While some of their fans were excited about the six months or so the duo decided to work together, the songstresses have recently proved that the relationship was built on a flimsy foundation.

While appearing on Miles Rwamit's show on Urban TV last week, Diana said that she was misled to believe that Karungi was her friend.

Rwamiti: Do you have any problem with Sheebah?

Diana: No, I don't have any problem with anyone.

Rwamiti: Is she your friend?

Diana: Not anymore.

Rwamiti: Not anymore? She used to be your friend?

Diana: I thought we were good.

Rwamiti: Has she been your friend before?

Diana: I thought were good. I don't know at what level of friendship, but I thought we were good.

Rwamiti: But not anymore?

Diana: Not anymore.

Rwamiti: What happened?

Diana: I don't know. It's also what I keep asking myself.

Diana noted that it's impossible to be friends with everyone, so there's no need to push so hard to reignite the friendship because the split could be for a reason.

"There was no friendship. We don't want to fake anything. Friendship is different. We have an understanding in the music industry called mutual respect, for colleagues, okay?" Karungi said in a recent interview when she was asked about the future of her friendship with Diana.

"Let's not confuse these things. Mutual respect for colleagues."
