Governor Awiti airlifted to Nairobi for treatment

Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti has been moved to Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi from Aga Khan Kisumu.

The county boss' doctors said that governor Awit was transferred for further treatment in Nairobi and he was in stable condition.

In April, governor Awiti delegated his duties to his deputy Hamilton Orata and took time off to recover after surgery.

The governor had returned to Kenya after undergoing an eye operation in Germany.
