Four juveniles and 18 adults died after the bus they were travelling in collided with a tractor before ramming into a stationary truck.

14 people who were seriously injured were airlifted to Uganda's capital, Kampala, for expert medical attention.

Police have cautioned motorists to "use roads with care and caution" because "many road accidents are a result of avoidable human undertakings".
