Eddy Kenzo to Irene: It’s impossible for me to suffer a career downfall
Ntale was among artistes that chimed in when Kenzo said that his songs had done better than those of the late Philly Lutaaya on streaming platforms.
Kenzo had a day ago told the media that he redid Lutaaya's song Born in Africa to give it a boost since he now has bigger platforms.
Ntale tweeted: "Did Kenzo really compare himself to Philly Lutaaya?!!! Wow this industry keeps getting more interesting 😂"
Ntale in a separate tweet said she was disappointed with the way Kenzo spoke about the late.
Speaking to Galaxy TV, Kenzo said: "I just want to tell Irene that I can no longer suffer a career downfall. That is what I can tell you."
"Because wherever I was dreaming of reaching, musically, I reached there," added Kenzo.
Kenzo said that he is now enjoying the extra benefits of his career, but there isn't much he is looking forward to.
"I'm not saying I can't go any further because I'm not the best in the world. I still have a journey to accomplish. But my dreams as an individual, all the things I wanted to achieve, I have achieved," Kenzo said.
"I'm now enjoying the bonus of my career. So, if have decided to quit music to go and dig, it will just be a choice, not that I have failed. I have fulfilled my dreams. That's what I can tell [her]."
Eddy Kenzo is one of the most decorated artistes in Uganda’s music industry.
