Detectives arrest Boniface Mwangi

Activist Boniface Mwangi has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

An update on his social media pages indicates that he was nabbed at his house and taken to Central police station.

The main reason for his arrest in not yet clear.

“I have been arrested by  from my house. We are headed to Central Police Station. I haven't been told the reason for my arrest” reads a tweet from Boniface Mwangi.

Reports indicates that Mwangi is being questioned over "starting a revolution likely to cause civil unrest and also cause a breach of the peace."
