Two activists have been arrested for dropping coffins at Ugandas Parliament in fresh protests.

They were part of a group of activists showing dissatisfaction by protesting the rampant murder and kidnap of women and children in the country.

The activists blame the Members of Parliament of not doing enough to probe the kidnaps and murders; despite launching investigations.

They also accuse the legislators of focusing more on politics and neglecting the issues affecting the country.

Some of the activists were also holding placards and banners reading "Life is a right; It is your duty to protect us; stop the bloodshed".

A police report released last month revealed that over 40 cases of murder have been reported and 8 of them, mostly women, murdered.
