Angella Katatumba on being flown out, sweetest message from a man
Katatumba, who is a musician and businesswoman, said that she has had her share of bad dates, but those are learning experiences.
She revealed this in an interview she had with Ibrah Mukasa sometime back.
Mukasa: What words from a man's mouth usually make you happy?
Katatumba: We are traveling. I'm taking you on a trip tonight.
Mukasa: That's what you like to hear?
Katatumba: Yes. But you've to follow up.
Mukasa: Umm.
Katatumba: I've sent you the money. Pay for the ticket. We are flying here today... those are the ones.
Mukasa: Are there men who say them to you?
Katatumba: They're there. I've sent you money for a ticket... We meet in this country... They are there.
Mukasa: And you fly and go?
Katatumba: Of course. Hahaha.
Mukasa: Can't you eat it and not go?
Katatumba: ... That would be so cheap!... If he has paid for [everything]... I travel. But I first go to my own hotel to assess.
She said she has been scammed before. So, when she feels something is off, she doesn't link up.
"We gauge whether he is straight and genuine," she said.
Mukasa: How many such trips have you been to?
Katatumba: Many. Hahaha.
Mukasa: You've had such trips with Ugandans or other nationals?
Katatumba: ...Both...
Angella Katatumba said she always travels with security and the men foot the bill for both her and the security.
