If you use a charcoal stove or gas cooker, you should consider cooking outside. The best indoor cooking appliances for small spaces are electric ones. According to Times, gas cookers have high emissions of pollution that often go unnoticed. Even when not in use, these cookers still emit toxic gases. Without enough aeration, the situation can be much worse than in bigger living spaces.

If lighting is not an option during sex, invest in glow lights or dim lighting. You and your partner are prone to accidents in a small living area. The risk goes up if your partner is not used to the house. Disorientation can lead to accidents that can harm someone or destroy property in the dark.

Don't stock too much food that cannot be refrigerated. This is the fastest way of attracting a host of organisms that can ruin your living space.

When getting furniture think about necessity. A bed, chair, and a table are the bare minimum and even those can be too much sometimes. Avoid furniture that is going to mess with aeration or make the place stuffed. The last thing you want are rodents and insects living with you.

Maintain a clean, dry, and cool place free from dirty dishes and clothes. Wash dishes frequently or keep all kitchen war outside. Get laundry done on a schedule in a reasonable period of time. Use an air freshener to keep the place smelling nice, and open windows more often for proper aeration.
