The singer says soon she will invite her fans for her very final concert in which she will bid farewell to them.
“That will be my last concert and the very end of my music career. I will call you all and say goodbye to you and also thank you for all the time you have been there for me,” she said.
“I also want to leave town and go settle down at my country home; you can always find me there,” she said.
The ‘Abakwabuzi’ singer said in an interview today, Thursday, that the “Queen Florence Gyenvudde Concert” dates are not yet set, but noted that this is something she has been actively planning for some time.
Regarding the possibility of getting back into the fray like some of the old artists who are lately releasing new music, Florence said this is not right because young artists also need to be allowed space to shine.
“You cannot expect me to be fighting for a microphone with Lydia Jazmine today,” she said.
"We have so many young female artists who are doing a good job, and we need to allow them space, because soon they will also step aside and another generation will come in and take over."
Florence also confirmed in the interview that she is officially married, by said she took the decision to keep her man secret because she doesn't want “constant fights” with young women.
