New Nessim-produced songs you need to listen to

Nessim Mukuza, popularly known as Nessim Pan Production, has produced some of the most well-received hits by Ugandan music lovers.

Juliana Kanyomozi, Sheebah Karungi and Lydia Jazmine

And in just four months he has collaborated with top female singers to craft wonderful beats for their music.

With Sheebah Karungi, they made Muwomya on which she features the hypnotising voice of King Saha. The song already racked up close to 2 million views on YouTube.

Then he hit the studio with Rema Namakula to produce Ngonze which has ticked up her bookings for weddings and introduction ceremonies. Ngonze, which has also garnered over 1.1 million views, is danceable because it has a strong beat and Namakula's rendering is fascinating.

This week, after about four years without releasing music, Juliana Kanyomozi used the talents of Nessim to drop Omwana, which has been well-received. Some of her fans, however, believe it's not her typical style. And they are partly right. For someone who enjoys her songs like Right Here and I'm Still Here and also enjoys listening to Tems's mesmerising voice for pleasure, it may not resonate.

But those who enjoy Namakula or Winnie Nwagi's songs like Kano Koze will have a great time with the song. It will definitely increase her bookings for traditional functions. After all, people who grew up listening to her are now at the age of getting married or always in such functions.

The other new jams that emerged from Nessim’s studio -- Shot Gun Sounds -- are Onsanze Ndaba by Kateleya and Kandle, Nalonda by Dr. Suudi, Never Letting Go by Lilian Mbabazi, which is off her new mini-album titled The One.

Nessim has also produced songs for Lydia Jazmine, Aroma, Carol Nantongo, B2C, Karole Kasita, Jose Chameleone, Ykee Benda, among others.
