King Oyo, now a prominent figure within Uganda's cultural and national landscape, addressed the gathering with words of gratitude and inspiration.

Today is a momentous occasion for us all. It’s a time to reflect on our heritage, celebrate our achievements, and look forward to a future filled with unity and progress,” the king remarked. His message resonated with the crowd, many of whom have watched him grow from a child ruler to an influential leader.

At just three years old, King Oyo ascended to the throne in 1995, making him one of the youngest monarchs in the world at the time. Over the years, he has become a symbol of continuity and resilience for the Tooro Kingdom. His leadership has been marked by efforts to preserve cultural traditions while promoting development and education within the kingdom.

A notable feature of the anniversary celebration was a segment dedicated to honoring individuals who have played a pivotal role in supporting the kingdom’s cultural and developmental projects. This tribute highlighted the collaborative efforts between the monarchy and community members to foster growth and uphold the traditions of the kingdom.
