Jalia Walda, Bruno K feud over music video cash

Jalia Walda, a Ugandan businesswoman based in Texas, USA, has accused Bruno K of misappropriating funds intended for shooting a music video.

Jalia Walda Nassolo

This song, released on June 5, is a heartfelt dedication to Jalia Walda from her mother and brother, Ata, appreciating her commitment to supporting the family.

"Mum says you've incredibly supported her and she sees you as an angel. She says she can't forget... She wonders how she can reward you because money is not enough," K, whose real name is Bruno Kiggundu, sings in Luganda.

"The heart appreciates you and history will remember."

The song was produced by Big Davie Logic, and the audio currently has 17k views on YouTube.

Bruno K claims that Jalia Walda, whose real name is Jalia Nassolo, was impatient and left the video shoot after the director delayed for two hours.

He mentioned that a deposit had been paid to the director, but she said they could forfeit it since he couldn't keep time.

K expressed his disappointment, noting that he sacrificed a lot of time and didn't even take his child to school.

He went to Jalia Walda's mother's house in Nansana to look for her, but she still refused to attend the shoot.

According to K, the director was delayed because he was hiring equipment and apologised upon arrival. Walda also refused to share pictures to be used in the video.

The director had suggested using pictures since she refused to participate in the video.

Bruno K wondered why Jalia Walda acted the way she did, given that she once failed to appear on time for NTV's Mwasuze Mutya, where she was to be hosted by Faridah Nakazibwe. K had arranged the interview.

The singer stated that his part in the video was filmed.

Jalia Walda claims she paid for the video and the clothes K wore.
