In short statement released by the tax collectors, Nsibambi moves to Albashaer in the Oman professional league.
“We would like to announce the departure of forward Derrick Nsibambi to Albashaer club of Oman on mutual consent. We thank him for the time he has been with us and wish him the best in his future endeavors,” reads a statement from the club.
Nsibambi has a short spell at URA having joined as a free agent on a one-year-deal at the beginning of the season.
He had two goals to his name in his eight games and one rightly came against his former club, KCCA FC. He has featured for Sebeta City in Ethiopia and Egyptian side Smouha SC and a move to Oman could be the perfect move for a football journeyman.
The forward faces a fresh test to reignite his football career.
