The Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL) has issued a public warning about fraudulent recruitment activities allegedly carried out by a man named Stephen Ssenyonjo. The company clarified that these activities are not associated with UETCL in any way.

The accused, a man who is pictured in the notice, has been arrested and handed over to the authorities for further investigation and action.

UETCL confirmed that all legitimate job advertisements are published in the local newspapers, on the official UETCL website, and on verified social media platforms. The company further clarified that no recruitment efforts require any form of payment.
