Born on April 27, MC Kat's journey to stardom started in Uganda’s educational system. He completed his early education at Namilango Primary School, where he took his Primary Leaving Examination, before continuing to Busoga College Mwiri and Highway High School for his O Levels.

He later attended Kitante High School and Makerere High School to complete his Uganda Certificate of Education.
