NBS TV’s Canary Mugume recognised in Avance Media's 2023 100 Most Influential Young Africans

Among the notable personalities included in this year's list is Canary Mugume, a senior news anchor and investigative reporter at NBS television in Uganda. Known for his in-depth reporting on current affairs, politics, economic issues, justice matters, and human rights, Canary Mugume has demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication in journalism.

The 2023 list features representatives from approximately 30 countries, showcasing a diverse range of talents and leaders across Africa. Notable figures like Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore and the African Union Youth Envoy Chido Cleo Mpemba are part of this influential lineup, alongside ministers of state, climate activists, content creators, musicians, and athletes.
