Bebe Cool has revealed his top five Ugandan singers.

While appearing on Galaxy FM, the legendary musician named Alien Skin, Elijah Kitaka, Joshua Baraka, Kapeke, and Ava Peace as his favourites.

The singer is currently on a media tour promoting his upcoming album, Break the Chains, which already has two released songs.

He also spoke about industry challenges and his future plans.

Who is Bebe Cool?

Born Moses Ssali at Mulago Hospital on September 1, 1977, Bebe Cool grew up in Kanyanya, Kampala.

He attended Aga Khan Primary School, then Kitante Hill School for O-Level. For A-Level, he studied at Makerere College School (S.5) and Kololo S.S. (S.6).

His music career took off after S.6. In 1997, he moved from Kampala to Nairobi, where he was among the first artistes to work with Ogopa DJs, a top Kenyan record label.

His friend Jose Chameleone later joined him in 1999, and together, they formed the East African Bashment Crew.

Bebe Cool has since performed on global stages, won multiple awards, and remains one of Uganda’s leading artistes.
