The event, which brings together nationwide market players and car enthusiasts, will be held at Kololo Independence Grounds.
During the media launch held on Friday, May 19 at Next Media Park in Naguru, Kampala, organisers said that the event sets a recognized platform for companies to showcase their latest innovations to a niche audience and allows participants to familiarize themselves with premium brands.
The Auto Show Kampala is being organised by NBS Sport, Rubis Energy, Mac East Africa Limited, CFAO Motors Uganda, Uganda Airlines and COG, a PR and advertising agency.
For two days, the experiential marketplace is expected to attract decision influencers, near-term shoppers, and car enthusiasts.
Brands will use this unique opportunity to target and engage a highly valuable consumer audience.
Exhibitions feature the latest and best products, concepts, innovations, and full product development cycle from the who’s who of the auto industry.
The display will have classic and vintage cars and custom-built, or project cars.
In the marketplace, attendees will have access to sedans, SUVs, trucks and trailers, buses and motorbikes.
These are from renowned brands, namely: Toyota, Isuzu, Nissan, TATA and KIA.
During the event, a number of activities will be held, including stage performances and DJ mixes from the Almost Famous DJs.
There will also be Go-Karting, conversations with mechanics, and you will have a look at or buy car accessories and spare parts(lights, tyres, batteries, interior parts, shock absorbers, etc.)
Attendees will be able to purchase products in the marketplace.
There is also an opportunity to participate in drifting and other thrilling challenges.
With Shs10,000, you can buy an ordinary ticket and Shs100,000 will get you a VIP ticket.
Tickets are being sold at Rubis gas stations around Kampala and they will also be available at the show entrance.
