Former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga has advised Kenyans to watch the Indian movie Gabbar is Back which he says has an important lessons for patriots in the country.
Mutunga took to his Twitter account where he compared the hero in the movie to the Wanjiku character in cartoon series published by popular satirist Gado.
"To all Kenyans who love to see change in our country, particularly the end of CORRUPTION, WATCH an Indian movie GABBAR IS BACK. GABBAR is the Indian equivalent of our beloved GADO’s WANJIKU. The lucky ones watch it on NETFLIX," Mutunga stated.
Gabbar is Back is an action movie that was released in 2015.
It revolves a superhero, Gabbar, who takes on a bold war to fight prevalent corruption in his country.
Since his retirement from the Judiciary in 2016, Mutunga has continued to be an elder statesman often using his Twitter account to issue nuggets of wisdom on good governance and advocating for constitutionalism.
