Kisumu Central MP Fred Ouda tabled before parliament, a petition which argues the constitutional term limit for the Presidency apply to the DP.

The petition has already been received by National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, and is expected to be debated in Parliament.

ODM, however, has distanced itself from Ouda’s motion.

The party's Chairman John Mbadi stated that the petition was brought by one of its MPs in his private capacity and had nothing to do with the orange party.

Ouda gained national prominence in 2015 when, serving as an MCA in Siaya, he stripped naked in protest to a tweet from a parody account bearing Ruto’s name.
