The ODM party has suffered a blow after the death of Siaya County Assembly Majority Whip Hon. Joanes Andiego.

Andiego died on Wednesday morning at the Nairobi Hospital where he had been receiving treatment for liver and kidney problems.

He had been representing Central Sakwa Ward in the Siaya County Assembly since August 8 when he was elected on an ODM ticket.

"We shall miss this dedicated servant of the people and a staunch supporter of the ODM Party," ODM said in a statement of condelence.
