Multiple award-winning Ugandan musician Juliana Kanyomozi on Friday engaged with her fans in a Q&A session on Twitter.
The former judge at Tusker Project Fame, an East African reality-singing competition, released her new album titled "Bits and Pieces" earlier this week.
Kanyomozi engaged with her fans on the social media platform by answering numerous questions they felt the singer would have answers for.
Here are the 4 things we learned from her questions and answer session.
Domestic Violence
Juliana Kanyomozi revealed that she has ever been a victim of domestic violence. A fan asked her if one of the songs on the album was about real life experience.
"Yes, it was. I experienced domestic violence at one point. But I’m glad I was able to walk out of it," she said.
Perfectionist
She is a perfectionist. If you're a follower of her music, that is something you have to be knowing. Her album is a manifestation of this attribute.
"I’m a bit of a perfectionist," Juliana told a fan who asked why her album took long to be released.
"Sometimes production takes a little longer than expected when it comes to me," the singer added.
Acting
The 35-year-old singer is definitely still interested in acting and she is highly considering it. Her sister, Laura Kahunde is a talented actress in the Ugandan movie industry.
Juliana reiterated her earlier statement during a TV interview that "acting is also something I’m still considering".
She made her film debut in Henry Ssali's Kiwani: The Movie in 2008.
The inspiration behind her album
The singer shared what inspired her to release her album "Bits and Pieces".
She said "life experiences, growth, and beautiful music", adding that "it consists of different shades of me musically".
