Messi, Ronaldo score in dramatic PSG vs Al Riyadh All Star friendly

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have both found the back of the net in the PSG versus Al Riyadh friendly match in Saudi Arabia.

The friendly game is the first time the two stars are meeting since the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League where Messi played for Barcelona and Ronaldo was at Juventus.

The match brings together, two of the greatest footballers of the last decade; Ronaldo and Messi in a befitting and possibly, one last dance as they take on each other following Ronaldo’s transfer to from Europe to a new beginning in Saudi Arabia.

Messi opened scoring in the opening three minutes at the King Fahd Stadium on Thursday to send PSG’s star-studded team in control. The Argentine star latched onto a lofted through ball from Neymar and slotted it past goalkeeper David Ospina.

Ronaldo would respond with a well struck beating former Real Madrid teammate Navas to find the equaliser.

Marquinhos put PSG back in control and Neymar missed a dreadful penalty.

PSG's Juan Bernat was sent before Ronaldo added his second goal just before half time.

In the second half, the goal galore continued with Ramos putting PSG back in the lead to make it 3-2.

A few minutes later, Jang restored parity making 3-3 from a corner heading the ball easily unmarked.

However, Al Bulayhi’s handball inside of the box from a Messi chance have Mbappe the chance to fire back PSG in the lead and he did!

Ronaldo’ would be substituted as PSG also brought on Donnaruma for Navas.
