Sharon, a TikToker recently stirred controversy when she alleged that singer Vyroota impregnated her and was forcing her to abort the pregnancy.&nbsp;

As days turn to weeks, the TikToker has published a series of videos showing off her baby bump and sharing her enthusiasm to become a mother and also conducted a paternity test to prove that indeed the singer is her lover and responsible for the pregnancy.&nbsp;

“Let us all wait for the DNA test, then everything will be clear. I do not want to lie anymore. I’m tired of making content and I think it is time to take care of my child,” she asserted in one of the videos on her TikTok channel.&nbsp;

&nbsp;She further revealed that she is now four months older and will be pleased to groom the child to emulate the father.&nbsp;

“Since the father doesn’t want us, I am going to make my unborn baby come out as a great singer like the dad,” she added.

According to Sharon, she had a one-night stand with Vyroota at his home and she ended up conceiving him.&nbsp;

After the development, she informed the singer who, according to her, was very scared and unreceptive and denied the allegations. The singer would then send his manager to convince Sharon to abort the baby.&nbsp;

However, Sharon decided to press charges of procuring abortion against Vyroota and went public about the matter.&nbsp;

While she has publicly apologised about their situation, she insists that only time will vindicate her.&nbsp;

South Sudan's minister of information has confirmed <a target="_self" class="editor-link" href="https://www.pulse.ug/articles/news/updf-deploy-more-troops-to-south-sudan-2025031807130361844">Uganda People’s Defence Force's presence in the capital Juba</a> noting that the country has a long-standing pact with Uganda.&nbsp;

Minister Micheal Makuei explained that Uganda and South Sudan's military pact dates back to joint operations against the Lord&rsquo;s Resistance Army rebels, a Ugandan rebel group that was based in South Sudan.&nbsp;

“This agreement has been in place for many years. It started with operations against the LRA and continued with the establishment of a U.S military base in Yambio,” he explained.&nbsp;

Makuei noted that the pact has never been nullified and the two nations&rsquo; forces are on usual mutual cooperation which is not a new development.&nbsp;

“The UPDF stationed here in Juba are support and technical units. They are here to assist their brothers and sisters in the South Sudan Defence People’s Forces, not to engage in new or separate operations. Their role is purely supportive,” he added.&nbsp;&nbsp;

According to UPDF CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the dubbed Operation Mlinzi wa Kimya is an effort to support the government of South Sudan following rising tensions between President Salva Kiir and senior officers loyal to Riek Machar in a looming battle for power.&nbsp;

"We the UPDF (Ugandan military) only recognise one President of South Sudan, H.E. Salva Kiir... Any move against him is a declaration of war against Uganda," he posted on X.

Tensions have been mounting in South Sudan after the government detained two ministers and several senior military officers allied with Riek Machar. One minister has since been released.

Ugandan troops were first deployed in South Sudan in 2013 after the outbreak of civil war triggered by the power struggle between Kiir and Machar.

The arrests in Juba, coupled with deadly clashes around the northern town of Nasir, are threatening the 2018 peace deal that ended a five-year civil war between President Salva Kiir and Machar&rsquo;s forces, a conflict that claimed nearly 400,000 lives.

Buganda Road Court has issued an international warrant of arrest for Isaac Ssemakadde, the President of the Uganda Law Society.&nbsp;

Chief Magistrate Ronald Kayizzi issued the warrant after Ssemakadde failed to appear before the court despite criminal summons and arrest warrants previously issued against him.&nbsp;

The prosecution told court Ssemakadde had been personally served criminal summons to appear before the court and he also produced the affidavit acknowledging Ssemakadde&rsquo;s reception of the orders.&nbsp;

&ldquo;We have served all relevant documents, including a warrant of arrest via WhatsApp to the accused&rsquo;s personal number, as we are aware he is out of the country. He has shown a lack of respect for the court&rsquo;s process,&rdquo; the attorney noted.&nbsp;

However, the Uganda Law Society president is said to have fled the country.&nbsp;

Ssemakadde&rsquo;s troubles with the law started after he purportedly made derogatory and scandalous remarks against the Judiciary on social media. He would be charged with contempt of court and Justice Musa Ssekana found him guilty and slapped a two-year prison sentence.&nbsp;

Court documents show Ssemakadde purportedly referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions Justice Jane Abodo as &ldquo;vagina from Karamoja, a dead wood, dimwit, and a shameless careerist.&rdquo;&nbsp;

He reportedly made the statements while addressing the press in a fiery speech in November 2024 at offices of the FDC-Katonga faction.&nbsp;

Following the ruling, Ssemakadde was reported to have sneaked out of the country and is said to be currently on the run.&nbsp;

Uganda People&rsquo;s Defence Forces (UPDF) Acting spokesperson Col Chris Magezi has cautioned the opposition party, National Unity Platform against adopting a militant and aggressive posture.&nbsp;

Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has announced plans to petition the courts of law over the recent Kawempe North by-election results.&nbsp;

While addressing the press in Kampala, party president Patrick Oboi Amuriat noted that they will be <a target="_self" class="editor-link" href="https://www.pulse.ug/articles/news/nrm-cec-rejects-kawempe-north-by-election-results-heads-to-court-2025031508513926948">embarking on a court process</a> to demand the costs incurred during the election exercise for their candidate.&nbsp;

“The Electoral Commission must be brought to account for the terrible by-election that they should have managed better,” he said

“Having previously participated in elections in Kawempe North, we affirm that this result can never be a reflection of our strength in this particular constituency and believe that this could have been caused by the confusion created by the military in some polling stations including those whose votes never got to be counted. We shall never get to know our accurate tally in this election."

Amuriat noted that their candidate for parish councillor Kazo-Angola Central was disenfranchised as ballot boxes were destroyed.&nbsp;

“Mr. Ssebunya Sharif, our candidate for Councilor Kazo-Angola central will never get to know how many votes he got because his area is one of those whose ballot boxes and papers were destroyed,” he said.

Abuja, Nigeria, will launch on September 12, 2024, with flights operated every Sunday and Thursday.

Flights to Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare , Zimbabwe, will launch on September 25, 2024, and will operate four times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

The routes are expected to boost revenue by 10%.
