Video: See if you can dance better than Karitas Kario, Bobi Wine’s ‘friend’

Karitas Kario may have appeared on your radar when pictures of her with Bobi Wine appeared on social media, sparking rumours that the two are dating.

While netizens were busy discussing her private life, she was busy in the studio working on music.

This year alone she has already released two songs, Wendi and Mpelekera.

Kario, who has more 91k followers on TikTok, has been promoting her songs through the video hosting platform, and in some of the videos she is seen pulling off sweet dance moves.

At the end of this piece, you will see a video in which she is dancing to her latest single Mpelekera.

Born Sharitah Nabbosa, Karitas Kario is currently based in the U.S.

The mother of one is a singer and she was born and raised in Mutundwe in Wakiso District.

Her music career kicked off in 2015 under the Golden Band Production, but she left the group in 2018 to concentrate on a solo career.

Her son named Ricky was born in 2020.

She dropped out of school after completing senior four at Kyadondo Senior Secondary School because she couldn’t raise money to push her further.

Her biography on some sites shows that she was born on January 4, 1997, meaning she will be making 26 this year.

She writes most of her songs and her catalog is quite large. Some of her songs include Love You, Wambuna, Jangu Tulye, Mbalabala, Serious, Chuuma, Bwendi and Show me.

Karitas Kario’s best colour is white and her favourite food is irish potatoes.
