Iconic music group Blu 3, who reunited earlier this year for a grand concert, will headline the event alongside renowned Ugandan rapper Fik Fameica. The festival promises a dynamic celebration of music, culture, and community.

The lineup

Joining Blu 3 and Fik Fameica on stage will be legendary dancehall artist Beenie Gunter, adding his signature sound to the lineup. The festival will also showcase a variety of local talents from Fort Portal, including Atwooki Richie, Muzanil Ayesiga, Tai-Tan, Irene Henda, Raya Rosette, Draei Bitsc, Hly Tremmie, and Sagio Mhza, highlighting the rich musical diversity of the region. Renowned DJs Tony, DJ Bash, and DJ Hash will keep the crowd energized, ensuring the audience remains on their feet throughout the event.

The Ekyoto Ha Mpango Music Festival is part of a broader series of activities dedicated to celebrating King Oyo’s legacy and promoting the cultural heritage of the Tooro Kingdom.

In addition to musical performances, the festival will feature a range of events, including a royal tour, visits to the Sempaya hot springs and the crater lakes, chimpanzee trekking in Kibaale, a tour of the royal palace, and a visit to Amabeere Ga Nyinamwiru. These excursions aim to highlight the natural beauty and cultural significance of the Fort Portal area.

The festivities will also include a spectacular fashion gala showcasing both traditional and contemporary Ugandan designs, along with various sporting activities such as golf, basketball, and netball. These events underscore the festival's mission to celebrate Ugandan culture while promoting local tourism and community engagement.

Attendees can also dial 16598# to buy tickets at a discounted rate of 5,000 UGX for general admission and 30,000 UGX for a VIP pass, which includes transport to and from Fort Portal.
