Beenie Gunter’s 'Dancehall Heat Rave" rescheduled

The much-anticipated show featuring popular Ugandan artist Beenie Gunter, originally known as "Guntalk Fest," has been rescheduled to November 2, 2024, and will now be called “Dancehall Heat Rave.” The event will take place at the scenic Garden City Rooftop, offering fans a fresh and exciting dancehall experience.

Beenie Gunter, whose real name is Baguma Crescent, is a well-known reggae dancehall artist in Uganda. He has gained widespread recognition for hit singles such as "Pon Mi," which featured Nigerian artist Skales, and the popular track "Olina Work," both of which have achieved significant success in Uganda’s music scene. Gunter first made waves in 2013 with his debut single "No Offense" and later collaborated with renowned Ugandan video director Sasha Vybz. That same year, Beenie Gunter launched his own record label, GunTalk Movement, marking a pivotal step in his music career.

The rescheduling and rebranding of the event are aimed at enhancing the overall experience for fans, as the event continues to evolve in both scope and presentation. Speaking about the changes, Beenie Gunter expressed his excitement for the upcoming show. “I’m thrilled to bring my fans a fresh and vibrant experience with ‘Dancehall Heat Rave.’ We have some amazing surprises in store, and I can’t wait to see everyone there!” he said.
