AgaNaga's comments came after StarBoss took to Facebook to claim that Grammy-nominated Eddy Kenzo was a selfish musician who doesn't want to share connections with fellow singers.
Sadat Mukibi, known professionally as Khalifah AgaNaga, believes he has the potential to write songs that can lift Big Eye StarBoss, real name Ibrahim Mayanja, into the big leagues.
"... the nigga kept all international contacts & connections for himself for like 9 years now," StarBoss' Facebook post reads in part.
"Some people don't deserve the motto of 'For GOD AND MY COUNTRY’ coz inside their hearts there is 'FOR GOD AND MYSELF'. Hope am not wrong to term it as being selfish."
Speaking to the media, AgaNaga said: "He should come and I write for him a song that will transform you into Kenzo."
Asked why he hasn't written that kind of song for himself, he said: "I've talent for writing songs. Kenzo doesn't have that. But he has an award [for singing]. But when we come to this side [of writing], I'm also strong. In Zzina Awards I've been nominated as best songwriter. That means I'm strong in some areas. And he is also strong in some areas. As Ugandans, we need to start supporting each other."
Zzina Awards will take place on February 25 and AgaNaga was nominated alongside Dr. Brain, Nince Henry, Liam Voice, Sheena Skies, Daddy Andre, Nessim and Mudra.
The crooner, who also operates Bad Character Studios, where he produces music has written songs for a number of celebrated musicians, including four hits for Sheebah Karungi.
