<h1>Former Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale on Tuesday night was put on the spot by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria when he accused him of conducting abortions.</h1>

Khalwale, who is a trained medical doctor, was hit with the remark after claiming that Kuria appeared for the interview under the influence of alcohol.

“I wish we had put an alcoblow at the door before we came in,” Khalwale took a jibe at Kuria.

In response, the Gatundu South lawmaker said: “Before you were conducting abortions as a young doctor I was still in politics.”

On Wednesday morning, Khalwale came out to explain why Kuria accused him of conducting abortions.

“ I didn't get what
Moses Kuria meant about you performing abortions ,” one tweep asked.

“It is an old ruse meant to mischievously portray doctors as unethical &amp; murderers,” the former Kakamega Senator said dismissing Kuria's allegations.

<h1>Employment and Labour relations court on Tuesday made its ruling in the impeachment case of Nairobi County Speaker Beatrice Elachi.</h1>

The court directed that the orders barring her impeachment to stay until Friday when the case will be heard.

Last week, Elachi moved to court to block her impeachment after 103 MCAs voted in favor, 2 voted against and 2 abstained.

In a video capturing the chaotic scenes at City Hall, Elachi is seen holding a small black bottle when the Ward Representative angrily stormed her office.

A clam Elachi is seen spraying the substance which left many coughing including journalists covering the event.

The House Speaker then proceeds to get drinking water and seems not affected by the substance she had sprayed in the room.

A female MCA was badly affected by the substance and was heard accusing Elachi of using pepper spray on her.

"Amenirushia pili pili kwa macho," she claimed.

This comes days after MCAs voted in favour of Elachi’s impeachment. During the House sitting, 103 members voted in favor, 2 voted against and 2 abstained.

<h1>Nairobi MCAs have invaded the office of Speaker Beatrice Elachi demanding her immediate removal from office.</h1>

The Ward Reps raided Elachi’s office as she was having interviews with members of the press, wanting to physically remove her from office.

During the raid captured on camera, the MCAs were heard hurling insults against Elachi accusing her of denying them permission to go for foreign trips.

This comes days after MCAs voted in favour of her impeachment. During the House sitting, 103 members voted in favor, 2 voted against and 2 abstained.

Chaos in Nairobi as MCAs try to physically remove Speaker Elachi from Office

<h1>30 county government officers in Machakos were on Friday sent on a compulsory leave over suspected corruption-relatd charges.</h1>

Governor Alfred Mutua issued the orders sending home the officers based in Mavoko Constituency.

Emerging reports indicate that the Directorate of Criminal investigations has started probing the corruption-related allegations.

"My Government has with immediate effect sent on compulsory leave for three months the officers to allow for investigations to be undertaken. I am happy that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has already seconded officers to start the investigations as other investigative agencies join in the coming days.

"The affected officers are not allowed to report to their places of work unless accompanied by security officers for a specific function that is part of the ongoing investigations," the statement said.

Mr. Mutua went on to assure the public that the investigations will be carried out in a fair manner.
