Following the symposium, a Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by H.E. Cardinal Francis Arinze, with H.E. Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu also in attendance. The celebration was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by the Uganda Martyrs and their significance in the history of the Church in Africa.

Elizabeth Paula Napeyok, Uganda's Ambassador to Italy, highlighted the profound importance of Martyrs' Day for Uganda, emphasizing the values of courage, faith, and perseverance embodied by the martyrs. The event was attended by a diverse group of dignitaries, including ambassadors from Zimbabwe, Burundi, Kenya, Lesotho, Angola, and South Sudan.
