The war of words was sparked off by provocative motor mouth, Kayz, who recently disclosed that he finds some of the clothes Sheilah Gashumba wears 'disgusting'.

In a retaliation that has since gone viral, Gashumba exposed Kayz as an individual from a lower social class, a villager who loves cheap attention.

While bashing him, she attributed Kayz behavior to lack of access to quality television.

In the tweet, she says that Kayz grew up watching That’s Life Mwattu and Kigenya Agenya on black and white TV.

Sheilah further noted that she grew up watching live performances of Beyoncé and Rihanna, watching internationally acclaimed television channels such as Disney and E.

That’s Life Mwattu and Kigenya Agenya were local television productions that were widely popular in Uganda, in both the late nineties and early 2000s.

Local comedian and actor, Leila Kalanzi Kachapizo, was not impressed by Sheilah Gashumba’s portrayal of the shows, as she was part of the Kigenya Agenya cast.

The comedienne took to her Facebook page to air her grievances.

According to Kachapizo, Kigenya Agenya is one of the greatest productions of all time.

“One of the greatest Uganda productions of all time, “Kigenya Agenya.” I will always be proud of this movie because through it Allah opened doors for me,” she wrote.

She further took a padded jab at Gashumba noting that what one identifies as an insult is another’s success story.

“I wish I can explain every good thing I got out of it but I might need weeks to exhaust it,” she added.

In her closing captions, she noted that the production did not entail vulgar language, indecent dressing, nudity, intoxication, age restriction but remained extremely entertaining.

She also thanked some of the talents behind the show such as Charles James Senkubuge, Andrew Benon Kibuuka and Aloysius Joy Matovu.

In Kachapizo’s tirade, she did not exactly refer to Gashumba, but made these comments following the debate that was sparked by Gashumba’s attack on Kayz.
