According to Nantume, her son joined his friends to celebrate a classmate's birthday and the teacher found them and lashed them.

"He enters the classroom, it's their friend's birthday, and he goes around beating everyone. My son fainted and he has been in a coma for two days," she said in a video shared on social media.

"But the good thing I went to Lugaba Hospital and they told me that he has no body damage, but they told me one of the veins of his head has issues, that there is a clot... and that's why he keeps fainting... they have examined him and we left the hospital and he is now feeling better... after diagnosis, they told me his skull is fine... I thank God for that, and thanks for praying for me," she went on, adding that the teacher has been arrested.

"But the teacher who beat my child has been arrested... he is called Julius Nkwanga... I had him arrested. I won't lie to you. He has been in a holding cell since Sunday... I'm so annoyed. Okay, let me eat some food, my son's condition has improved... thank you for praying for me."
