"I don't have a problem with Vinka, and whenever we meet, we always have a great time," Ntale said in a media interview, expressing her confusion over Vinka's on-camera demeanor suggesting otherwise.
In May 2023, Vinka finally addressed the issue, revealing how her relationship with Irene Ntale deteriorated.
Before launching her music career, Vinka was Ntale's manager at Swangz Avenue.
When she decided to start singing, Ntale was the first artist she collaborated with, and they released a song titled "Stylo."
Vinka accused Ntale of sabotaging the video shoot for their duet by leaving the scene before they completed filming.
Shortly after this incident, which left Vinka, whose real name is Veronica Lugya Nakiyingi, in tears, Ntale announced her departure from Swangz Avenue.
In her recent interviews, Ntale stated she doesn't regret leaving the record label that kickstarted her music career. She joined Swangz Avenue in 2013 and left in 2017.
Despite having no relationship with the label, she continues to accept gigs from them whenever offered.
Some music critics, such as Eddi Sendi (real name Edward Ssendikadiwa), have claimed that leaving Swangz Avenue was a significant career mistake for Ntale, as she lost crucial support that helped promote her and keep her in the studio.
However, Ntale has said that while she had a big brand during her time at the label, she wasn't making as much money as she does today, despite producing less music and having fewer gigs.
