Paul Muganwa named Stanbic Uganda Executive Director

This new role comes in addition to his existing position as Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB).

Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited yesterday announced the appointment of Paul Muganwa an Executive Director, following regulatory approval. 

This new role comes in addition to his existing position as Head of Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB). 

His appointment increases the number of Executive Directors to three, alongside Sam Mwogeza, Executive Director of Personal & Private Banking, and Mumba Kenneth Kalifungwa, the Chief Executive Officer.

With nearly two decades of experience in banking, both in Uganda and South Africa, Muganwa’s leadership has been crucial in the growth of Stanbic Bank Uganda’s CIB franchise. Under his strategic direction, the bank has strengthened its competitive position in the market over the last three years.
