DP Ruto's challengers

Moi and Joho have both declared their political ambitions for the highest seat in the land and are seen by many to be among Deputy President William Ruto's likely challengers in 2022 when President Uhuru Kenyatta completes his second and final term in office.

An IPSOS Poll conducted in March showed a majority of Kenyans at 30 per cent believed DP Ruto was likely to become president after Kenyatta.
