A reliable source has confirmed to Pulse Sports Uganda that Arua Hill bosses have approached the Kitende based counterparts to have Cromwell at Barifa in the second half of the season.

The 24-year-old forward joined the Uganda Premier League title holders in August, 2021 following a successful spell at Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC).

While with the tax collectors, Rwothomio bagged 14 goals in the league hoisting URA FC to end the season strongly in third place with 55 points in 30 matches. He was the third on the goal scoring log after Cesar Lobi Manzoki (18), and Shaban Mohammad (15).

Following exit of the star, URA FC have struggled in the first half of the new season. They are languishing midtable in eleventh position with same number of points.

Meanwhile at Vipers, Rwothomio has not enjoyed the playing time he had at URA FC. While he has been industrious on the Vipers’ flanks, the creative forward has netted a goal and was part of the team that earned Vipers qualification to the CAF Champions League group stage.

Arua Hill SC fancy their chances of a strong competition in the second half of the season. The Kongolo boys are sixth on the table with 23 points, six points off the summit.

As the new Vipers technical bench settles in, it waits to seen whether the club will let go of the recent FUFA Drum championship winner ahead of the CAF Champions League.
